Cross-Border University History Programme 2007-2009 (Spring 2008).

4 ECTS: compulsory web-course.

“Russian Economic History” is a compulsory web-course of first year Master programme in the frame of Cross-Border University. Tutors of the course are Moscow State Lomonosov University professors, which provide students with general overview of the state of the art and factual analysis of different periods of economic development of Russia. This course is focused on three main stages or phases of Russian economic growth: take-off of Russian Empire, forced Soviet industrialization, and Zastoy.  Students are going to master major research problems, approaches and results in the field, scrutinize historical evidence, and write analytical essays.
